About Us
Ringwood Celtics Basketball Club is a junior basketball club operating 35 junior domestic teams in the Ringwood area.
We offer both boys and girls teams, in all age groups from Under 8s through to U23s, in A grade through to D grade.
The club was formed in 1993 and has been a proud member of the Ringwood Basketball Association (RBA) for 30 years.
In 2000, Ringwood Celtics and the other Ringwood-based clubs joined the Nunawading competition to form the Greater Eastern Basketball Conference (GEBC), which we are still part of today.
The GEBC competition is run by the Melbourne Eastern Basketball Association (MEBA), which provides and maintains team details, fixtures, ladders and more via the PlayHQ website.
Our Philosophy
Ringwood Celtics is dedicated to giving children the opportunity to play and the learn the game of basketball, in a supportive family-friendly environment with experienced and passionate coaches.
We are committed to helping players develop their skills through the simple joy of competition, whilst also teaching and encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship and respect for all players, coaches, umpires and spectators.
